Desde hace unas horas circulan por la red de redes insistentes rumores que apuntan a que en próximas semanas (posiblemente durante el E3) Konami anunciará el desarrollo de dos nuevas entregas de la saga Castlevania, en ambos casos desarrolladas por los españoles Mercury Steam. El primero de estos títulos sería Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, que iría destinado a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U y PlayStation Vita. El segundo de ellos sería Castlevania: Mirror of Fate, exclusivo para Nintendo 3DS, con modo cooperativo para dos jugadores y uso de las cámaras de la portátil. El rumor podría ser tratado como uno más sino fuera por el detalle de que la fuente original es la misma que desveló hace semanas el desarrollo de PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, bastante antes de ser anunciado oficialmente por Sony. More Castlevania is always a good thing in my book and with Mirror of Fate and Lords of Shadows being spread out over 3DS, Wii U, and other platforms (for the latter of the two), it looks as though Konami is having the best interest in mind of all the different ‘vania fans. E3 is a mere 2 weeks away and I’m really looking forward to seeing these two and playing them first hand. Thank you all for sharing your interest in both titles. And regarding Star Fox – Metroid: Fusion Saga, if I find out anything on the rumored title before E3, I’ll be sure to put it up on Paul Gale Network. I don’t know if it’s real yet or not, but if it is, I’m sure that Retro Studios will deliver!
